7. AI-ASSISTED MATCHING AND JOB MATCH SCORES

Careers Hub may use automated technologies and artificial intelligence tools to assist with Job Match Scores.

These tools are designed to assist client Companies with their applicant review process. Careers Hub does not make fully automated hiring decisions and does not automatically reject Applicants. All recruitment decisions remain the responsibility of the Company.

8. DATA RETENTION

Personal data will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Retention periods may vary depending upon:

• Legal requirements
• Regulatory obligations
• Legitimate business needs

Where data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

9. DATA SECURITY

5.2 Where an Applicant creates a profile, uploads a CV, makes a profile searchable, submits an application or otherwise makes information available through the Platform, Careers Hub may make such information available to Companies registered on the Platform for legitimate recruitment and employment-related purposes.

5.3 Applicants acknowledge that Companies registered on the Platform may:

5.3.1 view Applicant profiles

5.3.2 search the Applicant database

5.3.3 review CVs and other recruitment information

5.3.4 assess suitability for current or future vacancies

5.3.5 contact Applicants through the Platform regarding employment opportunities

5.4 Companies may contact Applicants regarding employment opportunities whether or not the Applicant has applied for a vacancy with that particular Company.

5.5 Where profile visibility settings are made available by Careers Hub, Applicants may manage such settings through their account. However, where a profile is designated as searchable, visible or available to Companies, the Applicant acknowledges that registered Companies may access Applicant information for recruitment purposes.

6. LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

6.1 We process personal data on one or more of the following lawful bases:

7.2 The Company's use of Applicant information will be governed by its own privacy practices, policies and legal obligations.

7.3 Careers Hub is not responsible for the subsequent processing of Applicant information by Companies once such information has been lawfully accessed through the Platform.

8. AI-ASSISTED MATCHING AND JOB MATCH SCORES

8.1 Careers Hub may utilise automated technologies, machine learning systems and artificial intelligence tools to assist with:

8.1.1 vacancy matching

8.1.2 candidate recommendations

8.1.3 profile analysis

8.1.4 Job Match Score generation

8.1.5 recruitment platform functionality

8.2 These technologies are used solely to assist recruitment activities and do not constitute recruitment advice.

8.3 Careers Hub does not make automated hiring decisions.

8.4 Careers Hub does not automatically reject Applicants on behalf of Companies.

8.5 All recruitment and employment decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant Company.

9. DATA RETENTION

1. THE PARTIES

1.1 These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the Careers Hub Platform by any individual who creates an account, uploads a profile, submits an application, uploads a curriculum vitae, or otherwise uses the Platform ("Applicant").

1.2 The Platform is operated by Careers Hub Limited, an Isle of Man registered company ("Careers Hub").

1.3 By using the Platform, the Applicant agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. DEFINITIONS

2.1 In these Terms:

2.1.1 "Applicant" means any individual using the Platform for the purpose of seeking employment, consultancy engagements, contract opportunities or other work-related opportunities.

2.1.2 "Applicant Content" means any information, profile data, CV, application, qualification, employment history, photograph, communication, document or other material uploaded to or submitted through the Platform.

2.1.3 "Company" means any employer, organisation, business, recruitment client or other entity using the Platform to identify, review or engage Applicants.

2.1.4 "Job Match Score" means an automated score generated by Careers Hub by comparing Applicant information against vacancy information.

2.1.5 "Platform" means the Careers Hub website, software, databases, applications, messaging systems, Applicant management systems and associated technologies.

3. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

3.1 These Terms shall be deemed accepted upon the earliest of:

3.1.1 creation of an Applicant account

3.1.2 upload of a CV or profile

3.1.3 submission of an application

3.1.4 acceptance of these Terms during registration

3.1.5 use of any Platform functionality

3.2 Electronic acceptance of these Terms shall constitute legally binding acceptance.

4. ELIGIBILITY

4.1 Applicants must have reached the minimum age at which an individual may lawfully leave compulsory education and seek employment in the United Kingdom and must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

4.2 By creating an account, the Applicant warrants that they satisfy the requirements of Clause 4.1 and are legally entitled to seek employment, consultancy engagements or other work-related opportunities through the Platform.

4.3 The Applicant warrants that all information supplied is accurate and complete.

4.4 The Applicant shall maintain accurate and up-to-date information at all times.

5. APPLICANT ACCOUNTS

5.1 Applicants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.

5.2 Applicants shall not permit any third party to access or use their account.

5.3 Applicants shall notify Careers Hub immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorised use of their account.

5.4 Careers Hub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse is suspected.

6. APPLICANT INFORMATION

6.1 The Applicant warrants that all information supplied through the Platform is true, accurate and not misleading.

6.2 The Applicant shall not upload information that:

6.2.1 is false or misleading

6.2.2 infringes third-party rights

6.2.3 contains defamatory material

6.2.4 contains unlawful, offensive or discriminatory content

6.2.5 contains malicious software or harmful code

6.3 The Applicant acknowledges that Companies may rely upon information supplied through the Platform when considering recruitment decisions.

7. JOB APPLICATIONS

7.1 The Platform enables Applicants to apply for vacancies advertised by Companies.

7.2 Submission of an application does not guarantee:

7.2.1 an interview

7.2.2 communication from a Company

7.2.3 progression through a recruitment process

7.2.4 an offer of employment or consultancy engagement

7.3 All recruitment decisions are made solely by the relevant Company.

8. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO COMPANIES

8.1 The Applicant acknowledges that information submitted through the Platform may be made available to Companies for legitimate recruitment purposes.

8.2 By submitting an application or making a profile available through the Platform, the Applicant authorises Careers Hub to share relevant Applicant information with Companies.

8.3 Once Applicant information is disclosed to a Company, that Company shall act as a separate and independent Data Controller in respect of its own processing activities.

8.4 The Applicant acknowledges that the primary purpose of the Platform is to facilitate introductions between Applicants and Companies seeking to recruit suitable individuals.

8.5 By creating an account, uploading a profile, uploading a CV, making a profile searchable, applying for a vacancy, or otherwise making information available through the Platform, the Applicant expressly authorises Careers Hub to make such information available to Companies registered on the Platform for legitimate recruitment and employment-related purposes.

8.6 The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that any Company registered with Careers Hub may view, search, access and assess the Applicant's profile, CV and related recruitment information through the Platform, irrespective of whether the Applicant has applied for a specific vacancy advertised by that Company.

8.7 The Applicant further acknowledges and agrees that Companies registered on the Platform may contact the Applicant through the Careers Hub messaging, communication or application functionality regarding current or potential employment, consultancy, contract or other work-related opportunities, whether or not the Applicant has submitted an application for a vacancy with that Company.

8.8 The Applicant may manage profile “available for work” visibility settings where such functionality is made available by Careers Hub. However, where a profile is designated as searchable, visible or available to Companies, the Applicant acknowledges that Companies may access and process Applicant information for legitimate recruitment purposes.

8.9 The Applicant acknowledges that, once Applicant information has been accessed by a Company through the Platform, Careers Hub cannot control the Company's subsequent processing of such information, which shall be governed by the Company's own privacy practices and legal obligations.

9. JOB MATCH SCORES

9.1 Careers Hub may provide Job Match Scores.

9.2 Job Match Scores are generated automatically using information supplied by Applicants against information supplied by Companies.

9.3 Job Match Scores are provided solely as informational tools.

9.4 Job Match Scores:

9.4.1 do not constitute recruitment advice

9.4.2 do not constitute suitability assessments

9.4.3 do not constitute recommendations for employment

9.4.4 do not guarantee interviews

9.4.5 do not guarantee employment outcomes

10. AI-ASSISTED MATCHING

10.1 Careers Hub may utilise automated technologies, machine learning systems and artificial intelligence tools to assist with:

10.1.1 vacancy matching

10.1.2 candidate recommendations

10.1.3 profile analysis

10.1.4 Job Match Score generation

10.1.5 recruitment platform functionality

10.2 Careers Hub does not make automated hiring decisions.

10.3 Careers Hub does not automatically reject Applicants on behalf of Companies.

10.4 All recruitment decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant Company.

11. PLATFORM USE RESTRICTIONS

11.1 Applicants shall not:

11.1.1 access data belonging to other users

11.1.2 attempt to circumvent security measures

11.1.3 interfere with Platform operation

11.1.4 use automated tools to access the Platform without authorisation

11.1.5 copy, reproduce or scrape Platform content

11.1.6 impersonate another individual

11.1.7 engage in unlawful activity through the Platform

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

12.1 All intellectual property rights relating to the Platform shall remain vested in Careers Hub.

12.2 Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to the Applicant.

12.3 Applicants are granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the Platform for personal job-seeking purposes.

13. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

13.1 Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the Careers Hub Applicant Privacy Policy.

13.2 Applicants acknowledge and agree that personal information, profile information, CVs, applications and related recruitment data may be shared with Companies through the Platform in accordance with these Terms and the Applicant Privacy Policy.

14. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

14.1 Careers Hub may suspend or terminate access to the Platform where:

14.1.1 these Terms are breached

14.1.2 false information is provided

14.1.3 unlawful activity is suspected

14.1.4 Platform misuse occurs

14.1.5 security concerns arise

4.2 Applicants may close their account at any time subject to any ongoing legal or regulatory obligations.

15. WARRANTIES

15.1 Careers Hub shall use reasonable skill and care in operating the Platform.

15.2 Except as expressly stated in these Terms, all warranties, conditions and representations are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15.3 Careers Hub does not warrant:

15.3.1 uninterrupted Platform availability

15.3.2 successful employment outcomes

15.3.3 interview opportunities

15.3.4 suitability of vacancies

15.3.5 responses from Companies

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

16.1 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for:

16.1.1 death or personal injury caused by negligence;

16.1.2 fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

16.1.3 any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

16.2 Subject to Clause 16.1, Careers Hub shall not be liable for:

16.2.1 failure to obtain employment

16.2.2 rejection by a Company

16.2.3 withdrawal of vacancies

16.2.4 inaccurate vacancy information supplied by Companies

16.2.5 decisions made by Companies

16.2.6 loss of earnings

16.2.7 loss of opportunity

16.2.8 indirect or consequential losses

16.3 The Applicant acknowledges that Careers Hub acts solely as a recruitment platform and intermediary.

17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

17.1 Careers Hub reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time.

17.2 Updated versions shall be published on the Platform and shall become effective upon publication or such later date as specified.

17.3 Continued use of the Platform following publication of revised Terms shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

18.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Isle of Man.

18.2 The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Isle of Man.

19. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE

19.1 These Terms shall be deemed accepted by the Applicant upon the earliest occurrence of any of the following:

19.1.1 creation of an Applicant account on the Platform

19.1.2 acceptance of these Terms during the registration process

19.1.3 upload of a CV, profile or other Applicant information

19.1.4 submission of an application through the Platform

19.1.5 use of any Platform functionality

19.2 The Applicant acknowledges that electronic acceptance of these Terms constitutes legally binding acceptance and shall have the same force and effect as a handwritten signature.

19.3 Careers Hub shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms upon activation of the Applicant's account and continued provision of access to the Platform.

19.4 These Terms are accepted electronically, and no further signature shall be required by either party.
